How it Works
How to use our product safely:
Dilute It: Undiluted urine is too concentrated and can burn plants due to high salt and nitrogen content, similar to a dog repeatedly urinating on a lawn.
Common ratio: 1 part urine to 10 parts water, through ratios from 1:1 up to 1:30 are sometimes recommended depending on the plant and soil moisture. For sensitive plants a higher dilution of 1:20 is recommended.
Benefits of using urine as fertilizer:
Rich in Nutrients: Urine provides a near perfect nutrient ratio for many plants. On average, it contains about 80% of the nitrogen and 65% of the phosphorus we flush down the drain daily.
Eco-friendly: Recycling urine for fertilizer helps close the nutrient lop. It prevents the pollution of water systems, which can be harmed by excess nutrients and lead to harmful algal blooms.
